I'm loving the black MX1's on the basses. Besides looking bad arse they produce a very warm tone that's a little more focused than the MX2's which give a little more punch for outdoor use.

I really want to get them for our tenor line, i think they just look real tight. Same with bass's, but we just got the MX white heads for them. As for snares, i think the warm tone would kinda counter-sink with Evan's hybird grey heads.
