Wow thats really cool sounding. Its all smooth except for the snare sticks at the begginning during the bass lick.

Great Cadence. Great Groove. There is something fairly challenging for all sections. The only thing that I didn't like was measure 27. It just seems out of place with the rest of the cadence, but that is just my opinion. Great work.

I really enjoyed this cadence. I definently agree with drumholio when it's said there's a great groove. It's very good.

while technically drummer4life's question is off topic I was wondering the same thing. I can not get Finale 2007 to play skanks either and the only rimshot that works is drum 1.

Honestly, I cant tell you guys how to do it because I really don't know. I was just on this site one day(drumlines.org) and I opened up some cadence on finale and there was rimshots in it for drum 2 and 4 so. I dont know if you guys know how to use the "mass edit" tool on Finale but thats what I did. I just copied those rimshots into my own document, and whenever I need them I just copy and paste.

Here's how...Speedy Entry note, click the note, and usually it's raise the not (by holding down left click and easing the mouse up)

Ok, that is messed up. What radiosheep said works perfectly. However, my question is this...why do I have to use speedy entry? On simple entry it will give me a buzz by raising the note, but not the rimshot. Anyway, thanks radiosheep.

You don't have to use speedy entry to get rimshots. This is how i get rimshots on tenors in 2007: First in regular entry mode, click the note value you want (such as eigth or sixteenth note) then click on the sharp button. Finally, click on the space on the staff according to the drum you want the shot to be on. Hope this helps

to get rimshots and skanks just put the note in then press the plus key to cycle through all the sounds you can get from that one drum

On measure 27 you should add sixteenth notes starting from 4th bass going up to 1st it will sound way better and it goes with it.
