Make sure the only thing you accent is the first tap before the lrr or rll. Rlrr Lrll. Also, practice some accent tap stuff to get used to accenting and then keeping the stick down to do something else. You could even make up some things to work on. Try taking one hand, seeing what it does in a series of paradiddles, and practicing just what that one hand does. Start slow and gradually increase speed.

Vicfirth.com buddy.  On the site they have a whole page dedicated to rudiment practice. Go to the paradiddle section and it will show you how to play it and how to practice it, along with recordings of them being played at different tempos; extremely slow to extremely fast. Additionally, they also have a part where they show you how to incorporate the paradiddle (or whatever rudiment you're practicing) into your playing. I guarantee it will help you out. Good luck!

I am working on my paradiddle diddles and whenever i am going to the 5 srtoke at the end i tend to crush the notes as the tempo gets faster. any tips or eccersises would be great.
