we use aungst and we tape down to the o in tom and after the a in aungst

yea our snares , grip the stick with a nice even fulcrum on teh right hand then go from bead to that spot and then match teh other stick with it . fairly simple .

I taped to the fulcrum on my Ralph Hardimon stick, but on the I.P. stick I have I tapped it all the way down. As for my line, or the one other person whole plays snare, he uses white sticks so he doesn't tape at all.

At high school we use innovative FS-2's and we leave it untaped where our hands go.

we do a basic tape to around the fulcrum. Starting at the top, going down, and going back up making a "X" like pattern. But we use innovatice sticks. The mike mccantosh editions. They seem pretty durable, but it was a hard switch from Vic.

My line tapes the tape to the fulcrum and the tape over laps itself. i think that is the most universal way to do it
