Hey guys,

I don't really know if this has to do with drumming, but if it is anything to do with wrists, I usually assume it is.

Whenever I do like a rotation of my wrists, they crack really loudly. If I don't crack them for a few hours, they start to ache, until I crack them again.

Has anyone heard of similar problems?

In case it matters, I always, always play relaxed, and warm up before I play.

It might just crack like that I know mine will do that sometimes

I would expect it more from a tenor player because you might have been playing improperly, but since you are snare or I assume you are snare, because of your signature I'm not sure what could have caused it. Just make sure when you play you don't angle your sticks so they attack from the side -> / that direction.

Mine do that too, when i stretch my hand to the side toward outside of my body (toward the pinky)... i guess it must just be some weird tendon thing lol

OMG mine does too.
Every time I turn my wrist a certain way, it cracks. And I can do it over and over again like semi-automatically lol.

My wrist cracks too, similar to Darfin's... Mine is just the tendons sliding over the wrist bones. Nothing big.

Yea I can crack my wrists repetitively also. It doesn't hurt when I crack them though. If they do hurt a lot, I would recommend to go and see a doctor. Maybe something like an analgesic cream would help. Just some thoughts...

Every time I wake up in the morning, my wrists are really tense and I have to crack them to relieve the tension. I'm sure it's not a good thing, but I don't have any problems with my wrists hurting when I'm drumming, except when I'm chopping out.
