i (yes me, not my school) finally investeted in one, an Adams 4.3 octave concert marimba. i didnt feal like saving for the marching frame, so i got the concert frame, i didnt know if i would trust the concert frame but its fine. and i dont plan on moving it any time soon. i havent got new mallets yet, i plan on getting the van sice series. enough talking, heres some pics theres more pics to come if you want
around $3,500 w/ free key insurance i asked my band director if he could buy it, cause i dont trust the internet, he bought it, payed he back, now i own a marimba
Thats pretty expensive. I bought a tiny little xylophone with only 2 octaves. Because I didn't think I would need any more from a mallet insrument. Im captain of pit now so im always looking for a good insrument for a low price.
