I kept seeing stuff about people's least favorite rudiment or hardest and i wanted to see whats every ones favorite rudiments are.

Mine is the grandma. I just love the way they sound and its with the 2 left accents.

i love any alternate way of playing sextuplets.
paradiddle-diddles, shirley murphy's, triple strokes, anything like that
especially when they pop up right in the middle of a song.

I love playing a ton of rudiments but i guess my favorite one would be cheese inverts but they're all fun, it's so hard to pick a single one out.

I like Grandmas as well, but also Paradiddles and Paradiddlediddles.

Swiss Army Triplets with the second note diddled / accented. Could do those all night.

Flam Drags are definitely my favorite. I just love the way you could spice up regular triplets with those.

My favourite is the Paradiddle; one hand plays accent-tap with a doublebeat while the other plays a tap-accent, and then the hands switch. It's the best rudiment, since (depending on your philosophy) it covers all or almost all stroke types found in drumming, on both hands.

Paradiddle-diddle: Nice Flow...Sounds great with speed.

Paradiddle-diddle ... Simple, but I can play it okay and it flows really well.

I'd have to say the paradiddle-diddle, or cheese inverts would have to be my favorite. Soo much fun!

swiss army triplets. right now at least. it used to be book reports because i got pretty good at them after some work, but now I'm doing really well on the swiss army triplets.

Probably have to say my favorites are paradiddle-diddles, flam drags, choo-choo's and cheeze rolls/flam fives.

Not difficult by any means, but it's nice to mix'em around for warm ups.

I have a soft spot for the alternate sticking of lesson 25, Where the drag is on the E beat, The cheese and flamamacue are also pretty fun

Have't really gone deep into the hybrids so I guess my favorites as of now are Swiss Armies, Flam Taps, Flam Accents, and Hertas, just fun to do triplet feeling rudiments...

Grandmas are just played with paradiddle sticking: rLrr L lRll R, etc.
Book reports are also paradiddle sticking, with an accented diddle, left tap, an unaccented right flam, and a right diddle, then repeat off the left. I'm all about the book reports.

I simply love any variation of the Swiss Army Triplet. No matter what you throw in there it just has such a cool feel to it.

Lately I've been enjoying what I call cheese-ruffs. It just a good old ruff with a flam on the diddle. Not too difficult, just remember to get the accent up higher than the flam. Fun to play.

Floppy flams (flam-flams) are really fun to play. Hertas are fun to split.
Of the standards, my favorite has to be paradiddles. It's a classic!

nuchuttas are definitely my favorite...they look a lot harder than they really are to play
