I simply love any variation of the Swiss Army Triplet. No matter what you throw in there it just has such a cool feel to it.

Lately I've been enjoying what I call cheese-ruffs. It just a good old ruff with a flam on the diddle. Not too difficult, just remember to get the accent up higher than the flam. Fun to play.

Floppy flams (flam-flams) are really fun to play. Hertas are fun to split.
Of the standards, my favorite has to be paradiddles. It's a classic!

nuchuttas are definitely my favorite...they look a lot harder than they really are to play

I would go with eaither paradiddle of flam five. paradiddles are just so universal and cann be worked into any warmup or peice very easily.

Flam Five. But our drumline made up a hybrid name, just not the actual rudiment: Cheesy Grandmas.

So I started playing around with pataflaflas a few days ago, and I find them really fun to play. I love how at fast tempos you kind of have to whip your right wrist up to get from the grace note of the 2nd flam to the primary note of the first. Fun stuff laugh
