There was a nice little ice cream stand next to the high school. It was actually some good stuff! Lee is the man.

throughout the history of our school, the saying heard most is (for whatever reason)"Manbear pig is VERY REAL. i'm super cereal."

haha i've always wondered what started that....

Our newest and most favorite saying would be...

"Beating your drum is better than sax"


We were going to put it on the inside of our drumline shirts upside down so we could flip up the bottom of our shirts and it would say it, but our director said it wasnt appropriate....sexual inuindos(spelling?)

For last years drumline shirt i was going to put a single random letter on everyones right shoulder... and no-one would get it until you lined us up in our drumline order and it spelled out something profane.

Alright, so we are in rehearsal for our indoor drumline and our instructor says this

Instructor-alright, get out your mothers loose.

The name for the peice we were playing was called get loose mother goose and he said that unaware of what he said.
The entire line was like, DUDE! listen to what you just said! and he said it exactly like this

Get out, your mothers loose.

It was easily the funniest time on the line ever.

Last year we were getting ready to play Blue Sued Shoes . . . yea . .anyway, heres how a line discussion went . . well nowhere . .

Me: Ben do you know this?
Ben: huh?
Me: uhm . . do you know the piece?
Ben: of course i do!
Me: are you sure?
Ben: *silence and his eyes are darting*
Me: what are you looking at?
Ben: *repeated*
Dan: Ben get ready Alica's callin' us to attention!
Alicia: Band! ten hut!
Ben: Oh look a butterfly!!!!!!!!!!

yea, thats our senior snare on the line . . .he switched instruments with the senior tenor

My adviser is very sarcastic, which makes for some interesting motivational speeches, such as: "The next time I hear any of you hacking like that again, I swear to God I will castrate you." Good times.

My section leader from last year, his favorite line for me when I screwed up was,

"If you do that again so help me I will gouge out your eyes and skull **** you!!"
He was very motivating...

Im pretty sure he got it from Full Metal Jacket but none the less....its gets me goin lol
