Our snares use the ralphy jrs. 1.) because we have smaller hands and they're more comfortable, but we have used the original ralphys before.

For parades we have a tenor player and he actually uses vegas. (Our tech didn't want to pull anyone from the band to play tenors for the show so the one trumpet player plays the tenors in parades {He's actually quite good after I began teaching him a year and a half ago, I was impressed this summer})

I like Scott Johnsons. They're real balanced, and sound real nice with the more rounded bead than a barrel bead on Hardimons.

I'm used to the hardimons, but I recently picked up a pair of the Aungst sticks and they were really good. Haven't bought a pair of them yet, but I really liked the "reverse tear drop" head.

I bought my first pair of IP sticks not much more than a month ago. I got the PR2 stick and it quickly made it's way to the top of my list.
