The practice sticks? I love mine! Although I don't use them on snare, I use them on quads. Scott Johnson's actually sticks are very nice, but the bead is sorta big for my taste.

I just picked up a set of regular scott johnson's sticks today. I'm absolutley in love with these sticks, And the bead dos'nt seem to be much bigger then the ralphie's.

As for going wrong with the ralphie's, Well, that statment used to be true, lately most of the Ralphie's I've seen have been un-balanced, light, weak, having flaws, ect.

I didn't make the comment, but overall, I've got quite a few dead pairs of IP sticks. Also, the heartwood doesn't seem to take as much punishment as whatever VF uses. That being said, I still love the feel VF McNutt, the balance and bead are exactly what I am looking for.

for snare its between ms4s and scott johnsons (leaning more towards sj)
but for tenors hands down i love the aungst hybrids

ralph hardimon indoor models and scott johnson snare sticks

On my line we use aungst outdoors

but i also like hardimons and MS2s

well i have only used one stick for the past four year and that is ralph h's indoor, and i love them!

Jeff Queens are pretty awesome sticks as well.

Well im starting to not even play with Vic anymore im liking Ip though especially Bret Kuhns stick.

i've used hardimons for the past two years and they're pretty nice. i've been using the vic firth ms4's, and i really like them. they're really heavy and they make a nice full sound.
