I'll tell you what... it wasn't a DCI snare individual caliber solo, but there was some sick stuff in there. It started off sort of eh, but some of the fluidity with the sticks was very impressive. I really like the stick twirl around his arm after his last 3 rim shots. I'm not sure how he did it, but it was pretty cool.

That was a tight solo. If you look to the right on youtube after you click that link you will see a great tenor solo plus a few full drumline videos that are good too.

Yeah it definitely wasn't the best I've seen, but I like the way it was structured. He started off really slow, unlike some I&E solos which just barrage you with notes. I noticed he stole some tricks from I&E and unfortunately not well. Good solo though, especially if he's used to playing straight show style.
