I think this will help you. But before you ask a question like this, you probably should do a little research...

Subquestion:

Why does everyone always piss and moan when someone's got a question, simply putting it off with "Should've looked it up."?

Star of Indiana was a corps that basically started the trend of full-corps coreography with their 1993 production, often regarded as the best DCI show of all time, although they got 2nd (a decision that many people disputed). Looking it up on video.google.com will do some good.

Nowadays, the memebers of Star are held in the highest regard. Star has won one World Championship, in 1991.

Was that so hard, anyone?

For most, no. HOWEVER, because the common theme for this entire forum is "Search First, Ask second" it seemed appropriate, don't take it like we're being butts. Ignorance and Laziness are NOT excuses for not searching on a topic.

I went to Google, entered "star of indiana" and got the info that he needed. Was that so hard?

Down, boys. Y'all should've used the cute little "Notify Moderator" button instead of jumping on him first.

Anyway, more about Star. Why were they legendary? They made Finals every year of their existence. They pushed the creative envelope. Bill Cook ran his corps differently - he was ahead of his time (just like the corps itself), treating it more like a business. Their drumline wasn't just clean - they looked like clones of each other - their interpretations were spot on.

Is that more like what you were looking for?
