Oh god, "Drumline" all over again!! The only entertaining part of that was the comments. Funny stuff.

It can't be too old, since they were using FFXs, which brings me to my question... Why did they even bother springing for FFXs? Is there some sort of benefit even when using loosely-tuned Mylar heads?

I'll leave my comments at that.

he's got a point. why not just use Yamaha powerlite or something like that? it would save you a lot of money.

Yeah, their they're obviously more of a show style drum line, but I don't see any of your guys TBS commercials!

What's amusing to be is that the vocabulary from the movie Drumline, i.e. "crab" is actually used in the same manner in life. I guess the movie was accurate in some sense. *rolls eyes*

^^^Yes, that's one of the few things that is accurate. Most HBCU's call the new members Crabs. My band calls them Rookies.

One reason they would use ffx's is because they are completely free floating and sound better. They also look better and are just more up to date.

If using them made their drums sound like that, and it was "better," then God forbid what a Powerlite would sound like with them.

Interesting, I like all styles of lines. What they played was easy but it would take snugglebunny of time to get those visuals down.

Video: Is ok. I'm not a corps drumming endorser or a show style endorser, but I AM a drumming endorser. And because of that, I enjoyed the video.

Now...

Comments: I have no idea how people from Alabama get reputations. It blows my mind! I am officially renouncing my citizenship from the state of Alabama. Any other state out there willing to take me in?

The snares in the first video are the competitor series. you can tell by the top rim and the strainer.

Could you repeat that? This time in English . . . or Spanish, or Latin, or German, or Italian, or some language I can at least read a little of.
