Our Line Became smaller this year because our music doesn't need a loud drum section but anyway here it is:
snare-3
quints-2
bass-5
cymbals-3

I wish some things didn't happen how they did, but that's how it goes. I didn't make the decisions.
Ah, good old bass guitars in band...I remember marching it in my freshman and sophomore years!
Hey, I need to put that in my signature...
Yeah, the two bass guitars came from a kid that used to play tuba and a kid that used to play clarinet. And then the guitarist used to play tuba, too, quit for a year & then came back. And our piano kid is a blind guy that usually just does concert season, but really wanted to get in on marching season, and that's the safest way for him to be a part of the band.

12 Front Ensemble Members (6 play 4 mallets, Stevens and Burton grip)
Last year we had 6 former members of our drumline teaching and marching in the top 8 drumlines in the world......
