Rudimental Snare Rythms

I have been noticing lately that rudiments and the like have been getting left out of cadances, songs, and the snare all together at least around where I stay. I would like to know, since hopefully sometime next year or the end of this one, I will be snare section leader and the whole drumline section leader, which rudiments naturaly flow into the next and which make good rythms so I can create cadances and stuff for my drumline next year which aren't just a whole bunch of repetitive stuff from the last year because everyone around here plays "Boom" "Mark 7" and all those similar cadances. Put a little bit of flavor into my drumline, is what I'd like to do and make us all rudiment masters even though we are show style, when I take over we are going to be doing just corps style and no arm movement at all. Just wanting to know because I think that rudiments are leaving from the drums, at least around here.

What are herts, fubars, and paradiddle rolls?

Thanks a lot for the help, Im going to put those into my cadances I create. Drumrguy, Hertas, fubars, and paradiddle rolls are hybrid rudiments, you can find those in the rudiment section of the forums on the 128 Hybrids list. Hertas are 1 handed drags, fubars are like 2 accented flams notated rythmically, and paradiddle rolls are just simple paradiddles with no accents on them at 30 second note speed, rolling speed... You can get all the info for them in that section though, please, others tell me some other combinations.

As well as that can I get some more people to respond and to also let me know, like with the Flam Accents, those in triplets and then flow into Swiss Armies as sextuplets or triplets as well? Just wanted to refine my research.

Swiss triplets, windmills, flam taps, 6 strokes, 5 strokes, and other flam combos with rolls flow nicely. Another bonus is that the double strokes on the swiss rudiments can be stroked out like the casey claw, and the accents of your rolls can end with backsticks.
However, I think you should try to be origional with your rhythms instead of flowing rudiments sequentially. Too many cadences and solos are just a showcase of rudiments.
Polyrhytms and interactions between the different sections is what gives your line flavor, not smoothly-flowing rudiments.
