My moment of fame was my senior year at the very beginning of our show at State Finals. The entire band started in a block that move at a diagonal towards the crowd and to their right. Well I somehow managed to step off to my right instead of my left. I stuck out as bad as the sun at night. Unfotunately the judges noticed my one step in the wrong direction and commented on the lost tenor player. I was the object of ridicule for months. It was only one step. Stupid feet.

I was playing this brazilian song on my school's international night, and some guy had played on my set before me and moved my ride cymbal closer to the floor tom
result: on the drum fill, my right stick got stuck in between the floor tom skin and the cymbal, went flying in the air and hit another tom.
i was made fun of for WEEKS
was terrible =(

8th grade= marching the cadence fell hit the ground had a bloody knee whole entire football team (including my brother) laugh and pointed at me.

9th grade= Pep rally at somebody house tripped over a Hay stack whole entire junior/senior class laughed and pointed.
(lets just say when i was on the ground the drum was off me and my feet were in the air) Oh bloody chin too.

10th grade= still waiting to fall

those were only the worst of my falls i have probably hit the ground at least 5 to 6 times .

well it was really wet one day at practiceand we have a sharp crab step to the left for 8 steps, then asharp direction change to the right, i slipped and the entire snare line is comming right at me. i screamed and the entire band had to stop cuz we had a snare pile up. it took about 10 minutes to stop laughing and reset.

then in the 3rd movement, we're marching to the left and im on the other end of the line, they're comming towards me again. at 72 bpm i fell on my butt and twisted the crap out of my knee. the snare line managed to stay up this time.

we also had a kid do a backflip off of a dugout during a break one day. broke 3 of his fingers. lucky kid landed on his butt tho

hmm, i got a good one
so last year was the first year that there were all girls and me on my drumline...so they thought it would be a good idea to take advantage of teh situation and "innitiate" me. sotehy grabbed me, pulled my hoodie sleevs over my hands, my hood over my head, pulled the draw strings and tied them behind my head so i couldnt see, and then they pulled me over to the tower (we were on the practice field) adn tied me to it...after wich our percussion instructor came up and gave me a wedgie.

they made fun of me until just a few weeks ago when they innitiated the new guy on the line, they wrestled him to the ground, tied his hoodie sleeves together and then pulled the draw strings and tied em behind his head, after wich four of them picked him up and put him in the band trailor, and shut and locked the trailor. it was funny as heck.

well thats all i have to say

1. During pre-game we stepped off as we played the fight song and i was completely off step just from not paying attention -_-'

2. In the stands we had 8th graders come and play with us for a night, my drum stand was a tad wobbly (I'm a tall kid and i cant figure out how to make it stable!) and one of the 8th graders bumped into it and the whole drum fell and hit a couple people

alright.. this year is my first year marching. first marching contest day we had practice before we left. after our feature, we go up/right, then straight left. well.. were marching at about 160, i slip on the turn, drop my stick. me being the idiot i am, forgot i had extras. so i bent down to pick it up (yea. i wasnt thinking.) and my legs gave out. well.. i got my stick and tried to get back up, but they gave out again. by this time, the tenor beside me was crabbing left... and my face made contact with his bottom drum. next, my harness and drums didnt stop with me, so i got racked on the back of my neck with my harness... and somehow, i cracked the knuckle of my middle finger. yet still managed to get up, finish the show, and then go and play the contest. with my 3rd and 4th fingers wrapped. blah. not a good first contest experience.

At my first competition we were moving to the left and i stopped one step too early and the whole right side of the drumline crashed into me.

oh, and there was another time when I tripped on a drain that's in the middle of our practice parking lot, did a somersault with my drum still on, and scraped the heck out of my knee.

oh and when we were marching into a game playing our street beat and fell over after tripping on someone's coke bottle.

I'm rediculously clumsy

this isnt really my falt, but also isnt anybodys falt but, durring drum line try outs this summer, we got all the drums out and put them on stands, the basses had brand spankin new heads on them, so the instructor was talking to us, saying if you can play traditional then youll probably not going to make snare (DUH) and so in the middle of his lecture the first bass fell, his the second bass, and it was a domino effect for the next 3, i think it was the wind, but me and 2 other guys were standing infront of them and everyone looked at us, i felt so weird, the 5th bass's head was the only one that got really messed up, later one a snare fell
