4 basses rock!!! my schools line is the exact same, except for 4 snares 1 tenor.

Our school has always had 4- basses. My BS bought a fifth bass last year for some reason, even though he KNOWS we'll never have that many people.

Right now, my senior year, we have only 1 tenor, 2 snares, and 4 basses.

We always have 4 basses. Our percussion director is looking to either buy a bigger one and still march four...or just march 5


and one thing about the picture, Do yall wear your carriers on the outside of your uniform or is that just the uniform itself?

It's the uniform. The uniforms are basically just bibbers and jackets that clip at the neck. They don't zip up anywhere so they hang down at the front and don't come together. I hate them.

i wasnt sure if like you were wearing like a 1700's sailor
uniform or if you put your harness on the outside

they would look cool if you had a pirate show
but i could imagine them being a pain

lol it looks weird seeing the basses the way they are.. Just so use to seeing first next to the snares!
But I'm guessing it's just your drill, so it's all good!

Yeah, that's just a set during the ballad where the basses happen to be lined up in the opposite direction. Otherwise, the basses are always lined up with 1 next to the snares.
