Their caption head works for Premier and is the biggest Premier fanboy you will ever meet.

They're doomed to play on those things forever wink

The upside for them is that they constantly have parts available.

Well from what I've heard that's the main problem with them.

well yeah, some of the Premier drums had some issues. The quads were the worst. It seemed like every week something new was wrong with one of the guys drums
My bass has a random crack in it, that turned out to be from the tension rods(the new models fixed that though. and they look way sexier too)

I personally wasn't a fan of Premier until I got to RV. I still would love to march Yamaha but I was pretty happy with what we ad up there.

The new drums are incredibly light...it's ridiculously un-fair...

But anyways. Yeah. while that bassline did drive me insane, I do miss those three guys. We had a crazy season, but it was still a great experience

I subconsciounsly put 2 pictures from the same show(one from the lot and one on the field) and then the other is from Giants Stadium wayy back in the beginning of the season. woot Yamaha Cup

I've never used premier drums(not that i play base or anything). But I can't recall hearing anything good about them.

yeah..everybody hates premier..except our tech..lol
But he works for them so he basically has no choice but to like them..
We had a few problems with stuff breaking but, like snarepaint said, it's fine because our tech works for premier so we get parts relatively cheaply..

Plus the newer drums fix the majority of the problems that the old drums had so really Premier isn't too bad now..but they still have that bad rep. so I doubt anybody would make the switch..
